Top Ten Tuesday: New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2020

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. If you like books and lists, you’re going to love this. Basically, they have a topic for each week and they’ll post a new Top Ten list on their blog, everyone is welcome to join and all they ask is that you link back to That Artsy Reader Girl on your own Top Ten Tuesday post and you can also add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post.

This week’s topic is New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2020.

1. Talia Hibbert

2. Brandon Sanderson

3. Emma Lord

4. Devney Perry

5. Lyssa Kay Adams

6. Justin A. Reynolds

7. Tricia Levenseller

8. Brittney Morris

9. Melissa Bashardoust

10. Kate Stewart

Not an easy topic because in 2020 I read 46 new-to-me authors. Picking my top 10 wasn’t easy but it was fun. I will definitely read more from this authors.

Have you read any of these authors? Were some of they also new-to-you authors in 2020?

      1. They’re totally different from each other but both are incredible! I’ve read almost every single one of Tricia Levenseller’s books and I plan to read everything Brandon Sanderson has written, although that will take much longer than making it through Tricia Levenseller’s backlist!

      2. That’s the series that’s up next on my list for his books! I’ve been reading a lot of really long epic fantasies lately so nows probably the time to fit in some Sanderson before I’m sick of epic fantasy

      3. I’ve started The Wheel of Time last month and I’m loving it. I’ll read book 2 in March and I think that’s why I’m thinking more and more about jumping in The Stormlight Archives. 😄 I hope you read it soon and enjoy it! 💛

      4. I havent tried wheel of time. I feel like a lot of the classic fantasies kinda intimidate me. But at the same time I love a classic fantasy feel with like knights and nobles and a good quest fantasy so maybe I should give the “classic fantasies” a shot

  1. Great list! I had Talia Hibbert on my TTT list too and I can’t wait to read more of her books 😍 I’m also keen to check out quite a few of these authors and hopefully they’ll be new-to-me in 2021!
