Becca’s Bookplathon is a readathon based on Becca’s TBR game and it’s basically a TBR board game, you just roll the dice and add a book to your TBR for each space you land on. There’s also chance cards, community shelf cards and fun prompts. Here are all the resources if you’re curious or interested and you can watch the announcement video if you want to. I decided to do 6 rolls.
First Roll (6+1): Chance card – Aurora Rising. Not mad about this one! I need to read Sci Fi Books and this one has been on my shelf for some time.
Second Roll (5+6): Young Adult – I picked The Hate U Give immediately, I need to read this book!
Third Roll (6+4): Read a sad book – I haven’t been in a mood to read sad books, so I didn’t recall any book that fit this prompt straight away. Then, I remembered a book that has been on my TBR forever, specifically since 2015…! I picked Archer’s Voice.
Fourth Roll (1+5): Set in the future – I immediately picked Starsight! Really excited to read it.
Fifth Roll (2+3): Highest rated – The highest rated book, that has been released at this time, on my TBR Goodreads shelf is The Midnight Swimming Club.
Sixth Roll (6+6): Of course the last roll would be a double! I landed on Disability Rep. For this prompt, I picked Get a Life, Chloe Brown.
Extra Roll (6+6): Aaaand another double! Really?! What are the odds of getting two doubles in a row? Even more, what are the odds of getting another double 6 in a row?! I landed on Standalone. I picked Queen Move. I started Queen Move last month, however I had to put it down and haven’t picked it back up yet but I certainly want to.
Extra Roll n.º 2 (4+3): Final roll! 5 star prediction – The Hunter and The Mage. I’m really excited about continuing with this series!
That’s my TBR for Becca’s Bookoplathon. Even though I had 2 extra rolls, I landed on really good prompts so I’m not mad about it. I had so much fun just playing to get the prompts and picking the books!
There’s a few books I want to read too if I can squeeze them in and a couple of books I need to read to review this month. So, I’m also hoping to read:
At the moment I’m at 79%, so I’ll definitely finish Clockwork Prince soonish.
